Ultra-high Speed Broadband Network in Overland Park?

Technology-giant Google plans to test ultra-high speed broadband networks in a few pilot communities across America. These networks will deliver internet speeds at 1 gigabit per second – more than 100 times faster than traditional service.

The Overland Park Chamber of Commerce is assisting the City of Overland Park in its response to a “Request for Information” extended by Google to communities across the country.

We Need Your Help!
The Chamber and the City have until March 26 to respond to a detailed community questionnaire. Community feedback is an important part of the application. We are asking Overland Park residents, business owners and workers to support our application by submitting brief comments by using the form at the bottom of this page.

Be sure to tell your friends, neighbors, and co-workers about this project and encourage them to visitwww.OPFiber.com.

This would be  a wonderful thing for Overland Park KS to achieve.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for stopping by. I hope Overland Park gets the blessing from Google for the high speed as well. It would be pretty fantastic for folks like me who use a lot of bandwidth.

Ken
